The Vet Way Foundation’s Wrapped in Care event is a winter relief outreach initiative in Richmond, Virginia, focused on supporting individuals experiencing homelessness, with a special emphasis on veterans. The event provides essential cold-weather supplies and hygiene kits to help meet immediate needs while fostering dignity, connection, and community support during the winter season.

Receptacle covers were installed throughout the property. The remaining trim for the shower was replaced, and the last fans and light fixtures were fully installed. All remaining doors upstairs were hung and properly aligned.
In both bathrooms, new toilets were started to be installed, with work underway in both the upstairs and downstairs bathrooms.

The flooring installation phase is underway at our Chesapeake transitional housing property. New, durable laminate flooring is being laid throughout the home to provide a warm, welcoming, and low-maintenance environment for future residents. This upgrade not only enhances the look and comfort of the space but also ensures long-term durability and easy upkeep. Once flooring is complete, we’ll move on to interior finishes and final inspections as we continue preparing the home to welcome veterans in need of stable housing.
